Hill Corner

Hill Corner is a new dwelling that is nestled on an infill plot of land in a rural site in Somerset. The design looks at responding to the local materiality and becoming and outstanding example of sustainable design, integrating solar panels, air source heat pumps, rainwater harvesting systems, thermal mass to the ground floor, natural insulation and local materials.

The local materials consist of a cast concrete base, a rubble ashlar stone to the main walls, vertical larch cladding to the smaller massing as well as reveals and a slate roof.

Planning was granted for this site in 2021 and is currently in construction.
