The Stables

An existing flint and redbrick stable block in Kent has been transformed into a high-end wellness suite for a private client.

The suite features a fully equipped gym with a treadmill, cross trainer, bike, and a Technogym Kinesis cable machine. The adjoining spa area includes a spacious Effe steam room, a separate rain shower, and a WC.

Inspired by Scandinavian spa design, the material palette emphasizes warmth and tranquility. Light fumed oak flooring, off-white timber-clad walls, and an exposed vaulted ceiling create a bright and serene workout space. In the spa area, natural limestone flooring and grey porcelain tiles are complemented by bespoke oak cabinetry and polished plaster walls, adding a refined, tactile quality to the space.
